 | - How is a canon loaded? - Is it possible to hit the target? - How much does a canon weigh? - Am I able to be a sailor? The gunner will answer as many of your questions as possible, answers that will of great importance should you find yourself in a battle at sea one day. This and much more will be answered by our gunners, who also demonstrates how to load and fire a canon in cast iron from the 1930´s. Be the first in line as we load the canon, tell its story and hear the bang as it is fired. The arming at Fregatten Jylland, the Battle at Helgoland, snaps and spears are all part of the 30 minutes long canon demonstration. The canon show is a demonstration, spiced with historic stories and entertainment. Being a part of the show is required, if the crew does not arrive in time. A lively and authentic show where the guest get an insight of the true realities onboard at battle ship in 1864. |
